GRAPHIC DESIGN FOR MARKETING

GRAPHIC DESIGN FOR MARKETING

Behind the scenes from the course I built with Artisto Picasso. The course was built based on skills that I found useful at my design job and it was structured to prepare designers with essential skills to apply for graphic design jobs in marketing teams.

The course was aimed at understanding basic rules of layout and we (myself and the team at Artisto Picasso) decided it would be interesting to show how to create ads in the styles of various famous brands. This would help in the learning process as it would help the viewers have an idea of the visual style their aiming for as these are well established brands.

Creating social media ads in the style of Emirates, Ather and Ikea. This was to teach basic rules of Hierarchy and rule of thirds.

The above exercise of creating Google ads helped in understanding how to adapt the same design for various sizes of Google ads.

Building a campaign from google ads, to emailers and a landing page. This gets the viewers accustomed to what may be expected from a graphic designer working in marketing teams.
